🚪 Getting Started

First Launch

1. 1Open Delitia Studio in your browser
2. 2Tap the install prompt to add it to your home screen (optional but recommended)
3. 3The app launches with an empty dashboard — your data lives on a cloud database
4. 4Tap Catalog to add your first ingredient

Your Home Dashboard

• Greeting & stats row at the top with today's revenue, profit, and order count
• Today's bakes — orders due today
• Upcoming — the next few days of orders
• + New Order floating button (bottom right)
• Bottom navigation with Home, Catalog, Customers, and More

🥚 Managing Ingredients

Add a New Ingredient

1. 1Tap Catalog → Ingredients tab
2. 2Tap + Add ingredient
3. 3Fill in name, photo, purchase unit, purchase cost, use unit, and the conversion factor (how many use-units fit in one purchase unit)
4. 4The app auto-calculates cost-per-use-unit
5. 5Tap Save

Update Prices

1. 1Open the Ingredients tab
2. 2Tap any ingredient's price field to edit inline
3. 3Enter the new purchase cost and save
4. 4Delitia Studio automatically recalculates every component and product that uses it

🎂 Building Components

Create a Component

1. 1Tap Catalog → Components
2. 2Pick a sub-tab: Bases, Fillings, or Frostings
3. 3Tap + Add
4. 4Enter name, photo, and which product types it works with (Cake / Cupcake / Cookie)
5. 5Add ingredients with quantities — the app sums the total cost as you go
6. 6Set the base yield (e.g. "makes 1 cake" or "makes 12 cupcakes")
7. 7Tap Save

🛍️ Configuring Products

Create a Product

1. 1Tap Catalog → Products tab
2. 2Tap the + new product button
3. 3Upload a photo and enter a name
4. 4Pick a type: Cake, Cupcake, or Cookie
5. 5Pick a base, filling (optional), and frosting
6. 6Choose available sizes (10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 cm for cakes)
7. 7Optionally enter a suggested price
8. 8Watch the live cost preview at the bottom update as you build
9. 9Tap Save

📋 Creating an Order

Step 1 — Choose a Customer

1. 1Tap the + New Order floating button on the home screen
2. 2Search for an existing customer, or tap a recent photo-chip
3. 3Tap + New customer if it's their first order — enter name, phone, and address
4. 4Tap Continue

Step 2 — Build the Items

1. 1Tap + Add item
2. 2Pick the product type (Cake / Cupcake / Cookie)
3. 3Either swipe through saved Products or tap Build new from scratch
4. 4Tap each card — Base, Filling, Frosting — and swipe to pick options in the bottom sheet
5. 5Set the size (cakes) or quantity (cupcakes / cookies)
6. 6Tap any extras chips that apply (custom message, etc.)
7. 7Enter your price and watch the profit update live (green = profit, red = loss)
8. 8Tap Add to order
9. 9Repeat for additional items, then tap Continue

Step 3 — Confirm Details

1. 1Pick the due date and time
2. 2Choose Pickup or Delivery (delivery pre-fills the customer's address)
3. 3Add a delivery fee, overhead items, notes, or a reference photo
4. 4Review the final summary: total cost, total price, and total profit
5. 5Tap Confirm Order — done

🔄 Tracking Order Lifecycle

Advance an Order

1. 1Tap an order card from the dashboard or the orders list
2. 2Tap the next stage in the timeline (e.g. Ordered → Baking)
3. 3A toast confirms the update

Mark as Paid

1. 1Open the order
2. 2Toggle the Paid / Unpaid pill
3. 3Delitia Studio freezes the cost snapshot — the figures stay locked for accurate historical reporting even if ingredient prices change later

Quick Actions

• Long-press an order card for Mark Paid, Message Customer, Edit
• Swipe right on an order card to quick-advance the status

👥 Managing Customers

Add a Customer

1. 1Tap Customers in the bottom nav
2. 2Tap + New
3. 3Enter name, phone, address, and an optional photo
4. 4Save

View Customer History

1. 1Tap any customer in the list
2. 2See their avatar, contact info (tap phone to call, address to map), notes, and full order timeline
3. 3Tap any past order to jump to its detail screen

📊 Reports & Insights

View Monthly Reports

1. 1Tap More → Reports
2. 2The current month is shown by default — use the month picker to scroll back
3. 3Review total revenue & profit, orders count, top product, top customer, revenue & profit by day, and product mix

Export to CSV

1. 1Open Reports
2. 2Tap Export CSV at the bottom
3. 3Save the file to your device or share it via the OS share sheet

⚙️ Settings & Backup

Backup Your Data

1. 1Tap More → Settings
2. 2Tap Backup / Export data
3. 3Save the backup file to your device or cloud storage via the share sheet

Configure Defaults

• Default overhead bundle (boxes, ribbon, etc.)
• Default delivery fee
• Default cake sizes shown when building products
• Your profile name and photo

📱 Using Delitia Studio on Mobile

Quick Tips

• Photo-driven: tap product, component, and ingredient photos instead of typing names
• Bottom sheets: swipe horizontally inside pickers to flip through options
• Steppers: use − and + for cupcake and cookie quantities
• Floating action button: + New Order is always one tap away from the home screen
• Install as PWA: add to home screen for a full-screen, offline-capable experience
